Ash’s identity, a shorter answer, and a long wait
A guarded identity update and one-turn tests made progress; a 51-word rejection and roughly 63-second pipeline kept the limits clear.

Ash’s identity, Corps roster and personality cues were deployed to the Pi development voice path. Regression reports recorded 155 tests on each platform: Windows had zero failures and eight platform skips; the Pi had zero failures and zero skips. Eleven helper checks also passed.
Owner-operated single-turn testing confirmed a correct Sick Bay answer for Dr. Jenny. A prepared rough-day cue also played correctly. That prepared reply was not evidence of model generalization. Bishop’s spoken name was correct; separate Windows text corruption was corrected through UTF-8 native-output decoding without changing global code-page settings.
The first natural model reply contained 51 words and exceeded the unchanged 50-word validator. An approved prompt-only change made the numeric limit explicit and targeted ordinary replies of 20–35 words. The model, voice and validator stayed unchanged, and offline checks passed.
The later model-generated reply contained 28 words, was accepted unchanged and completed playback. The pipeline still took 62.645 seconds. One successful response did not establish broad conversation reliability. Prompt compression remained a proposal, and no visual-capability test outcome was recorded.
