Meet Gigi, our Recon Chinchilla pilot
An approved character direction and the first controlled blink study expand Ash’s world.
Gigi’s pilot look was approved on October 14, followed by an animation reference sheet and a short blink study on October 15. The expressive eyes remain central to the design.
The work is deliberately staged: establish the look, compare expressions, test small movements, then qualify the production assets. The current studies are review material, with runtime integration still ahead.
Engineer’s Corner now includes the Gigi blink study and Chiquitín’s approved combined expression preview, together with their limitations and next checks.
