When Progress Stops
A historical pause, a subsequent owner release, and the validation still required.

When Progress Stops
The weekend ended with a deliberate pause. Our current system state and our documentation did not fully agree.
That is a baseline integrity issue. Continuing development would make it harder to tell which configuration produced a result and whether a change was accepted. We stopped new runtime work and reconciled the voice and audio record to a controlled October 11 checkpoint.
The reconciliation preserved earlier failures and dated records. It distinguished the Piper recovery route from the later Michael voice candidate, corrected the current disposition of the installed writer fix, and retained missing validation as open work.
An installed file is not a successful live test. An active service is not proof that every function works. An accepted voice does not make every spoken answer correct. These distinctions are practical controls for a project that combines hardware, perception, speech and character behavior.
The owner released the runtime change freeze on October 12, 2026. That release permits resumed development; it does not turn open validation into acceptance. This website update performs no device or speech work.
